Great review. Agree with you totally about the sound of this car. Aggressive, powerful, metallic growl when you get on it. No need for aftermaket exhaust! The Z51 makes the car feel like its on rails. Have had numerous comments about those "massive brakes."

Great review and congratulations!!! But I'm curious about something. You dealt with Chuck Hutton in Memphis, then drove it home 550 miles:

Why didn't you opt for NCM Delivery...???!!!

Wow, sounds almost like mine... LMB, Steel Gray interior, Z51, MN6, but not polished wheels. I had a very similar experience with Rick Daniel at Les Stanford. Signing the paperwork was painless and took all of 10 minutes. Today's the first day I've driven her in not-so-perfect weather, so now she's all dirty.

We actually stayed in Bowling Green Friday night (exit 22) and had some fun at Applebees and then awoke early, finishing the drive to Memphis. We really did want to do the RC8, but we wanted the car as quickly as possible and that would have put us back, by at least another week. Also, we traded our '04 CE and had to get the car there anyway. We thought about shipping the CE to Karl and getting to BG by other means, but it just didn't make financial sense . If we hadn't had the CE to trade, we would've most definately done the RC8. But, as it turns out, we had a great time and it was good to meet Karl Johanson. Me and my wife had a lot of fun with talking and dealing with Karl. Everything worked out perfect!
