Default Visor Clip FIX

Some of us were having trouble with the visors not staying in their clips. Mine was the passenger side, easy 5 minute fix and you get to play with fire too.
I unscrewed my clip and unplugged the wire to the light, on the passenger side. I then took the clip into my kitchen, turned on the stove, heated up the area in question just enough to make it pliable, don't set it on fire, just get it hot. Remove from fire and press down on counter top in a way so that your clip area will be smaller. Hold in place for about 30 seconds or so until it cools a bit and put it back in your car.
I did mine about 3 days ago and it is holding like a champ. When heating up this piece, don't put it directly in the flame; hold it about an inch above for about 5-10 seconds at a time to make sure you don't melt it.
I hope this helps you guys, and gals.
Kevin.

The light provides ambient lighting on the radio area and comes on automatically at night.

What? Are you kidding? My wife doesn't even know we have a kitchen. I didn't even know if the stove would work, one turn and PRESTO, I had fire.

Make sure to remove it from the car, a heat gun may work fine, but don't do it while it is in the car.
Windshield could crack, fabric could singe etc... I'm sure you had planned to remove it, but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks again! What a great fix!!Torx t-15 to remove(I unhooked the LED light from socket) brought it to my shop, used a spring clamp ,applied heat slowly with my heat gun,let cool.Reinstall ,tight like it was made that way.It was driving me bats before ,everytime I hit a bump it bounced off.

Probably the easiest fix on the car, I hope everyone with this problem reads this thread.
I am happy for you.
