Default Dash delamination issue

My dash skin is delaminating (about 1/2 inch) in the crease between the dash and the right side of the instrument cluster. The dealer is willing to replace the entire upper dash, but I wonder if this will cause more problems than it is worth (rattles, squeeks). I know it comes down to how much it bothers me...it is right in my line of sight every time I look down to the dash. Just wondering others thoughts on probability of future problems if I go ahead with a new dash. Also, technicians probably have never done this, being the C6 is so new to them. Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Get a new dash it's a new car, don't glue it.

You've got to go with your "gut"! It's not an easy choice.

I would do glue if it could be made to appear perfect. If not I would replace it. You shouldnt have to deal with that in any new car.

IMHO Have the dealer replace it. This is a new car and something like that probably won't just stop.

Yep, it may only continue to get worse. If you let it go, you may end up paying cash out of your pocket after the warrantee expires.

If you intend on selling or trading this car later, that delaminated dash will cost you if you don't get it attended to.

Also if you don't warranty it, GM won't know about it.

Glue it. You've got a few years to see if anything gets worse. Replace the dash, and there's a GOOD possibility that you'll inherit other noises, and damage.

I'd not trust dealer monking around with dash. My friend had his redone on C5 and the new one doesn't fit right.

Drive it back to Bowling Green and make them fix it at the factory!!! Everytime I have a dealership fix something minor, they create new problems!! I guess it comes down to confidence in your service dept at the dealership! Good luck.
