Default Spoiled by the C6

It is a winter wonderland here in Reno, which means I am driving my truck. Don't get me wrong I love this truck, it is a Silverado SS, Black, 345 horse, 380 torque, ground pounding AWD, leather, loaded, OnStar,XM, factory 20" wheels,Bose (that actually sounds good) etc. Nicest truck made IMHO.
BUT it pales to the C6 in so many ways. Driving home last night I really noticed how much crappier Halogen lights are in comparison to HID. This key thing is(as my daughter would put it) so yesterday. Fumbling around with keys sucks. No need to talk about power, Driving without a HUD should be illegal. And although the SS's instruments are a trick white face gauge set. Those back lit C6 gauges make everything else seem blah. I miss my NAV.
This place needs to thaw so I can drive my car.

It's snowing up here today and the roads are getting greasy. My family car is an Audi A6 Quattro 2.7L twin turbo, so I'm not exactly driving a slug, BUT, it feels so boring compared to the C6. A world class, high performance German car....and I'm spoiled by a GM product. The irony of it all....

Thanks TedG, I feel in my bones that one day I'll have me my dream car. Until then, I'll visit this site daily and dream (and learn).

Well, it's 85 and sunny..... but I remember when we lived in Chicagoland area and winterized the cars........ But last time I checked there weren't any hurricanes up your way or out West so I think God has a way of keeping things rather even.....

but we are lovin' it right now.......

Rain here would be awesome. Melt this crap and clean up the roads a bit. There is literally hundreds of tons of sand on the roads now. Getting rid of that would sure save my paint and windshield. Anyway all the snow is covered with black. It has hardly been above 30' here Since Thanksgiving, so nothihg is melting. I would love to wash my truck if nothing else.

It's winter here in Chicago but I took it out today. The roads are dry, traction control works. My winter car is an Evo, so I still have a lot of fun with that, but I can't let the C6 sit for too long. She calls out to me asking me to drive her!!!
