What a bittersweet moment! Is it okay for the car to sit jacked over the wheels for a long time?

Well, okay. Nice pics. I'll drive an extra trip to town this week in mine for you.

I have an easy time finding excuses to drive it.

I have to go through the same process. What lift are you using? I would appreciate the information.

My Lift is made by Autolifter, its a model 7000. I have had it for about 9 years, they have nicer looking lifts avalable now.
I must say that its a pain getting the C6 up due to the jack points.

I had my 73 up on this lift for 7 years, it only came down to go to shows. I have driven the C6 more in 3 months that I had driven the 73 in 7 years. This one is for having fun, not showing.

PS: I'm in NJ and within a month the roads will be full of salt, rocks, and sand, not a good place for a nice car.

I don't blame you. If we had to put up with that here, I probably would too. Just razzin you about it.

is that good for the suspension and the monoleaf for it to be sitting like that for an extended period of time?

Ah, winter. Out here in California we're stuck with funny front license plates, but we're driving our Vettes 365 days per year, no salt, no gravel, beautiful roads from coastline to mountains. (I'm rubbing it in.) Nice lift you have, though.

I think thats a good idea! It would take the pressure off the shocks and the ball joints. I don't see any bump stops on the C6.

Again - Good idea. Guys, I will be relocating to SC just under Charlotte in about 2 years, I believe they don't run front plates and you can drive all year except for a few icy days. Oh Yea!!

I definitely would encourage you guys up north to move down south. Open roads and sunny days!!! After being down here for about 7 years, there is no way I could go back up north to live.

Man, what a sight...That great car just hanging around all winter long not being enjoyed.

Listen...If you want, ship it out here to the West Coast and I"ll exercise it on a regular basis free of charge...Our roads rarely have that snow and ice and other related stuff on them...Had my Torch Red out yesterday in some really beautiful Fall weather...clear and dry for most of the day.

Always glad to help out a fellow forum member!
