Another new guy
Hey everyone... I'm starting to shop for a car, and the C6 is looking like the winner. I test drove a 89k$ 911, and all though it was an awesome car, not worth the money in my eyes. The C6 looks like the best bang for the buck, but I was also looking at the 05' GTO with the LS2. Or do I wait for the new Z06?
I haven't owened a sports car in a few years, (last one was a 300z TT) but I have owned and raced fast motorcycles my entire life, both road racing and in the 1/4. I have 6 in the garage now including a 200hp R1 with N2O and a 430hp Velocity Racing Stage II Turbo Hayabusa.

Sounds like you would want a Z-51, with the manual box, but if you can wait the Z06 seems like something well suited to you. The performace difference will be noticable in a big way.

As one motorcycle guy to another (2000 ZX12 Do you do LABusas?) the C6 is right up your ally. To me it is the Busa/12/R1 of the auto industry. Comfort, speed, handling all in one beautiful package.

Although I miss the finger over here. Actually there is a load of great info and insight here. And most here are really good people. I think we are even more passionate about the Vette than we were about the Busas and 12s.
