Default GM Engineering Called

Tonight a rep called and asked me questions about the build and quality of the car. I shared my experiences and some of yours that can make the car better. i.e. rotors, fm static, xm antennea etc.

You might receive two calls. One from an annoying hired by GM without thinking marketing company that hires anyone to read off a paper sheet while sounding like a duck on acid call.

And then a real call from a real GM/Bowling Green customer satisfaction person that actually knows the car and how it is assembled and can help with just about anything you like.

I got both... I preferred the second one and hated the first.

I would like to get a call so I could put in my comment on the 6 speed trans. I love this car and the gear rations of the trans are great. I just hate all the comotion going on in the trans during shifts, the difficulty getting in reverse once stopped, the vibration coming up through the shifter if you have any tension on the shifter waiting for the next gear. If none of this means anything is wrong with my trans I can deal with it but it is a weak point. Anyone confirm the benefit of trying royal blue synchro max?

I've got both calls, now I'm waiting(But not by the phone) for the engineer to call. The first call was BG and hand'nt had the car long enough to know it. Chevy seems to be real interested in how this car is doing and about their customers who buy it. That was really the intention of this thread.

This is great. It shows that GM is aiming to please its consumers and make money by also making a better product.

The BG call is where I got a quick response to a problem. Unfortunately they don't give out their phone numbers.

Got the car 5 weeks ago. Got the generic call, not the BG call.

I got the first (generic) call, but never got the call from Bowling Green, and I even MET the guy who was supposed to call me during my factory tour when I got NCM delivery in October.

I did send in my JD Powers Customer Satisfaction report, with my concerns detailed in a side note, especially about the rampant orange peel.

I got a call from BG a while back, but is most assuredly wasn't from engineering.

Nobody from GM or engineering or Bowling Green is ringing UBETRUN,and BANGC6 ,or me. Oh I have asked for some answers as to what they can do to fix my car but I got one call a week ago that gave me ZERO information as to WHAT, WHEN ,WHY ETC. She did promise to get back to me the next day but I guess she lost my phone number. Would have to surmise that GM only wants input from owners whose crank pulley did not shred the serpentine belt. Mine has been down 12 days--I'm lucky as UBETRUN IS STILL WITHOUT HIS CAR FOR OVER 30 NOW.

I got a call concerning the polished wheels. Of course they aren't doing anything about it.

Have not had to do this but others have reported good results.

This doesn't sound right to me. I get no noise or vibration through my transmission at all. You should definitely have this checked by your dealer.
