Noise HELP
There was a rain here yesterday and on my way home from work there was a high pitched squeal coming from the belts when I hit the accelerator. The sound was still there this morning. The dealer said they are just wet, but it's not raining now and the noise is still there. Any ideas on how to get rid of this noise. The sound is embarrassing. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like the belt is slipping just a little, no big deal. However, you may want to open the hood while the car is running (parked of course) and make sure you don't see the belt moving around on the crank pulley...just read the crank pulley post on this forum. If that's o-kay, they sell a "belt-dressing" spray at auto part stores that help keep belts from slipping but, you shouldn't need to do that on your new car.
I would give it another day or two, if it doesn't stop squealin', take her in for service.
