Dude,

Don't just drool, join the fun, AND, it's much more fun to look at when it's yours... You nailed it when you said it was a sweeet ride...

DAVE -the light for some of us is a broken down C6 WITH NO HELP IN SIGHT--SOME OF US HAVE ''CRANK PULLEY'' PROBLEMS THAT HAVE PUT US OUT OF COMMISSION. THE 50 INSTOCK COUPES YOU HAVE MAY BE WAITING TIME BOMBS AS WELL. LAST WEEK I ASKED THE FORUM DEALERS FOR SOME ASSISTANCE WHICH FELL ON DEAF EARS.

YOU GUYS ARE GREAT ON SELLING CARS ,BUT HOW ABOUT USING YOUR INFLUENCE AS THE ''WORLD'S LARGEST CORVETTE DEALER'' TO GET GENERAL MOTORS OFF THEIR BUTTS TO ADDRESS THE DIRTY LITTLE CRANK PULLEY SECRET.

I'll admit that I haven't had any customers with this problem yet, so I'm not up to speed on it. I just read your thread. PM me a number where I can call you. As I said before, I as well as some other forum dealers, are here to support the hobby, not just sell cars. Get me the details and I'll go to work.

Dave

Good eye, my wife hit a semi truck tread carcass left nicely in the fast lane one night on the 15 South. It is on order.

I must say I didn't buy my car from Dave but he has given me updates and some other inside info and he had nothing to gain from me at all so while maybe he didn't help originally I don't feel he's a typical salesman for all the help he has given me as well as Marvin.

I also appreciate the help Dave and the other forum dealers provide. I bought locally when I could have driven a couple hours to Kerbeck's. I just wanted to support the guys I bought 5 Camaros and 3 Jeeps . I very well indeed may be buying from Dave in a few more weeks if my car does not get fixed, But really the reason I ask for forum dealer help is because of their allocations they can possibly get some answers. The number of crank pulley breakdowns is higher than most people are aware . But even if your cars are not affected , the shoddy manner in which GM is handling this situation affects all of us. The forum dealers also have a vested stake in consumers opinions of how the factory deals with any problems---pulley now but may be something else later--next time not me but someone else. Actually Dave helping me is helping Kerbeck's as well.I live so close that folks around here who see me happlily driving my car rather than it sitting on a rack , will not wait to order or pay over MRSP. They scoot on down to Atlantic City and pick one up right away.
