Thank you for your Service! Semper Fi.
"Choose with your wallet what must be your hearts desire" means buy what you want and be happy with it. I am not in the habit of lording finances over people and would not make fun of anyone I thought was in a worse position than me. I'm sure your portfolio is impressive and in reality it only matters to you.
Yes I was driving in 1974. No did not serve in the Military, 4f from a broken back crushed lumbar vertebrae's L1, L2, L3 down to nothing, nice of you to inquire.
My son however is with 1st Marines 5th Battalion, out of Camp Pendleton he is an 03-51 who has been to Iraq twice and is going back for a third. He was decorated with the NAM-V for saving several of his brethren under fire.
I have many opinions about many things, but I rarely find it necessary to present them in a way to offend or degradate others, unlike those members who enjoy bashing other members of this forum.
Unlike them I have no Vette's or Vette owners I wish to trash or insult. I think C5's are awsome looking, I liked C4's better, and have only praise for all previous years with a special place in my heart for '68's.
I have said before and will say again. "The person who chooses to own an Automotive Icon usually has a great appreciation for the entire line, and each subsequent model that survives is a testament to All that ever existed".
