Default Order Status?

Would appreciate if one of the forum dealers could check on the status of my order HTPR22. Yes, it is a vert order and I am prepared for the worst!

Thanks and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Why should you be desperate? For 50K make your dealer earn your business by getting his butt on the phone and giving you the info you're paying him for. Make him earn his commission, or use someone else. If you're not buying a VERT there are forum dealers who have cars on the ground ready to go. Try Ken @ thevettenet.com

He found me a vert in 1 hour.

Steve

Me too please HMJWPJ it is for a red vert. The Dealer took my money on 7/27/04. Even Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center won't commit to a date or even a reason why the car isn't being built. Great company that GM ......... great "Cuss"tomer service........... LOL.

Why don't U guys call your dealer? Don't take no for an answer. They can get an update at will, with a 5 minute phone call to GM. Begging on the forum is degrading. Ask these jerks to do their jobs or go elsewhere. This info is readily available to your dealer at any time!

I can't speak for everyone else, but I got conflicting information from my dealer. I found it very helpful to get a "second opinion" from forum members. What's the big deal with asking? If someone has access to that information and is willing to share it isn't that kind of the whole idea behind the forum? Dealers have been known to tell you what you want to hear to not lose a deal.

Good Point, but I have a question for all who posted on this thread. If you're looking for a coupe, why not just get one that's on the ground and ready to drive. They're so many out there. I think my real problem with all this stuff is that it seems like GM is holding everyone hostage with their production problems.

I wish they would come up with an online system that they can just let you plug it in.
Or at least give it to the museum delivery guys

I am waiting on a vert and thought about finding one in stock, that's why I have posted for an update to get the real story. I think it will be worth the wait to get the exact car I want. I have to admit if I found 98% of what a wanted I would probably get it right now.

All it's missing is the XM, and after seeing the antenna on the trunk lid, well I kinda don't miss that 2% any more!
