Default GM Card earnings limit may not apply...

I just paid for my new C6 today and used my GM card earnings that significantly exceeded the $1000 limit mentioned on the Cards website, so dont be afraid to give it a try!

Museum delivery for my VR coupe is scheduled for Monday, Ill post pics if anyone wants to see the new red.

Ive used my GM card earnings on three different vehicles.
When I purchased my C5, they even tossed in an extra $750 for buying a car. The card sure serves its purpose!

Good Luck with your new C6.

Think it is the "old card" vs. the "new card".

Old card has a max earning of $500 per year with no limit on using the earnings.

New card (not all that new) has no annual limit on earnings but has limits on using 'em.

I have the old card and was able to use all of my eranings ($1,204) toward the C6.

it could be, mine was a Gold Card in this case. the page doesnt make any references to the card type, blue/gold/platinum, and simply calls it "todays GM Card".

It depends on which kind of GM card you have.

I purchased an OLDS for my wife in 1999- was able to use $5000 towards purchase, that was the old Gold Card-On the C6 was only able to get $1000 off, I used the new platium card-However, since we still had the OLDs I got another $1000 off as a "OLDS LOYALTY CREDIT"

You should have kept the old card.

They allowed me $1,000 of my card earnings - and matched it. A total of $2,000 GM card discount.
