my dealer couldnt get any info until a day before they recieved it. they gave me a vin about a week before it showed up but thats about it. i wouldnt worry yet about it. how long did they say you would be waiting?
Did you order a vert or coupe? There are still members out here who ordered in April that don't have an order # on a vert. Other than that, probably just holiday slowdown.
ordered my car about 3 weeks ago .dealer still has no order number or any other info.should i worry?
He may not have much else but a order number he should have?
I've had a order number since I ordered 10/23! BUT IT HASEN'T BEEN ACCEPTED BY GM, 1100 NO TPW. (VERT, DSOM, CASHMERE, BEIGE/POWER TOP)

I ordered mine from Henderick Chevy on Dec 15. By 12/18 they had a TPW of 1/10. Verts are on heavy restraint now from what I understand. But if your dealer has the allocation available (coupe), he should be able to tell you something.
First...ask for the vehicle order number. Once you have this, many of the fine people here on the forum are kind enough to help you track it. If the dealer cannot give you an order number, most likely they have not put it through yet and you may want to check out one of the forum dealers for another option.

A dealers allocation is normally spread out over the model year. So if your dealers has an allocation of 4 he will probably get one in each quarter. If you are number 4 it will probably be built in the last quarter April, May, June.
Go to Kerbeck. Just the opportunity to see all the colors, different interiors, and suspensions will make it well worth the trip. You will probably get a better price at Kerbecks and get your car quicker. You can always get it serviced at your local dealer if you want.
