Just got my February issue of Car and driver magazine. C/D estimates 0-60 in 3.8 sec and Quarter mile at 11.7@127. 0-100mph in 7.7 seconds Top speed in excess of 190. Base price will be around $62500. Its a 427.8 cubic inch smallblock with 500hp and 475 ft pounds of torque 385 pounds of torque available at 1600 rpm. Gross weight is 3150 lbs. The price fully loaded was estimated at $75000-$80000 however GM will not confirm anything at this point and prices should not be near that high. What a beauty she is!! Magazine title says " Fastest Production Corvette ever". Can you say BEAST. And yes the same issue has a road test on the 2006 Viper and the Vette is faster all around
