does anybody in this forum have a transparent roof. i am thinking about getting one, the dealer wants 1050 for it even thoughu can get one when u buy ur car for 750 what a rip off. if u have one how do u like it. and do u know anyone who wants to sell one because i have to order it and they dont know how long its going to take to get one

No, you can't buy one for $750 when you buy the car. When you buy the car and pay $750, you're paying the difference between the body-colored roof and the transparent roof. You only get one roof that way.

If you want both roofs when you buy the car, you pay $1400 extra. That's how much the transparent roof costs by itself.

Mine came with transparent roof and i love it,its very lightweight.and gives that open air feeling .its also tinted so the sun doesnt bother you at all.Athough i'm thinking about getting a body color one later as a spare

 

You didn't get hosed. Back in November the retail price was $1,600. GM just dropped the retail price to $1,400 a couple of weeks ago. Fitchner never screws anyone!!!! Just ask everyone here on this forum!!

Sorry,I didn't mean hosed by Fitchner ,I should have said hosed by GM.A week after I bought it the price dropped 200.00.I received them in mid December.You're right Bob at Fitchner is a great guy,my apologizies. :o
Besides I should know if you want to be first on the block its gonna cost ya.Impatience does come at a price.
