Dark Nav Screen

During the day the nav screen is too dark for a brightly lit cockpit, -anyone know an easy fix ?i think i accidentally did this to myself.thanks

Its not that its too dark.. there is way too much glare..

On a day when its overcast and hazy the nav screen can be read perfectly.. Its just an inherent problem with the nav.

In the row of buttons on the left of the NAV you will see one the has a music note/and screen no it. Press that button. When that screen comes up you will see screen adjust at the bottom. Press that. Now you can adjust the contrast and brightness.

It will take a few seconds to adjust after...say....leaving a dark garage, but I have been pleased with leaving my screen in the "auto" mode. I think it darkens and lightens based upon the lighting circumstances.
