After a 9 week wait, our C6 arrived at the dealer late this afternoon. It was very fun to be there when the van drove up, and quite an experience to watch how the staff at the dealer handled a dead battery on a yet-to-be-delivered car.
After an attempt at jumping the battery, they gave up and pushed it into the lot.
Gotta work tomorrow, so can't pick up the car 'till Friday. This will be a long 36 hours...
Ordered a C6 1-11-05 Victory Red Z51. Thought the wait would not be a problem, have a C5 in the garage.......but the days are slow, and in the winter in Co, need to wait for spring (most of the time).
Congrats
Is that the new breakin procedure for the corvette. I knew you were not to exceed 55 for the first 500 miles but that's ridiculous. I guess though you will get great gas mileage. Congrats and enjoy!!!1
And the Proper Title for that picture?? "Why you should stay away from first model year Corvettes!
And you really think every problem with the new model is going to be eliminated by waiting a year or two? Doubtful...The General doesn't seem to work that way. Anyway, not a nice thing to say to a guy who's about to take delivery on his new Vette.
Nice choice, FireDog... I saw the first blue C6 up close last weekend... very cool.
How long did Allied take to drive your baby out to Thousand Oaks?
Apparently, it wasn't charged up before it left BG, which begs the question, shouldn't it?
