Can you say if this new item is going to be on the Z06 or limited to the C6 only?

Thanks!

But what I will tell you is that theres not a lot different but something interesting about the drivetrain and something never offered by GM before, just some food for you all to diejest

GM has offered an auto with steering wheel button shifting before.
(Grand Prix GTP)

BUT,
GM has never offered a 6 SPEED automatic with steering wheel buttons.
Does the fact that there are SIX gears in the tranny make you refer to this as a GM first????

Or.............
are we talking an Sequential Manual Transmission (SMG) like on the BMW M3.

If ther is going to be a SMG in the 06 vette,
just post that there has never been an SMG in a GM vehicle before.
PLEASE.

DJCVette ... don't think you can keep this kind of news to yourself. If your observation is correct ... the details/confirmation will be available by late summer from someother source.

Still ... don't get yourself fired by telling what you can't. Just leak info to us later on .... anonymously ... and we will remember you hinted at it first.

I'd guess its the SMG.

New headlights

No seriously, 4 wheel drive?
Naw, sequential shifter.
Yeah, sequential shifer. I'm hoping it's more like the BMW with a shifter in the center console rather than paddels behind or on the steering wheel.

It's just the 6-speed slushbox automatic with the paddle shifters.

"slushbox's" are taking over the world.

True manuals will not be around for much longer.

Unless one is a / (divide) haha

Kinda fuzzy pics though.....

I'll bet the down shift is behind the steeringwheel, where you pull it paddle towards the wheel with your fingers.

I think that could still be an LS2 C6, 2006 model.
