get off the forum and get back to waxing your precious machine and talking about how nice you're keeping it for the next owner.

The difference in postings is so night and day. From Nascar burnout to ricer burnout. If a ricer pulled off that burnout...congrats.

From pathetic corvette waxer purest...to a car guy that likes to have fun.

I drive the hell out of my machine and I guarantee you it's happier in my hands leading a life it was built for than sitting in your garages for your weekend toy when there's no chance of rain.

I spent 75k to do more than a burnout. I spent 75k to drive the best car in the world every day. i spent 75k to beat the **** out of Ford GT's, Ferrari's, Lambo's and anything else out there. I spent 75k to take a turn at 105mph reading 1.2G's on the HUD and smile. I spent 75k for the thrill of rocketing to 160 with a huge grin on my face.....every week. I spent 75k to have a machine that owns at the track and will improve my skills. And I spent 75k to do a fun burnout to share with my friends. FWIW..that burnout was followed by a highly modded 360 Modena doing the same thing. I guess he decided to spend 170k to just do a burnout right?

to some of you..get a life. to the rest. thanks!

just think...who would Zora agree with?

....wax on wax off bitches.
I'm with you. I bought my Z to have a blast, not stand there and look at it.

I'd be more than happy to post the 110meg version if someone wants to host it. Anyone?
Absolutely! I loved it, and would be happy to host it! It doesn't have to be 110MB to look nearly lossless. (even 1080i High Def wouldn't be that big for a 31 sec video).

Drop me a PM and I'll set you up with the file transfer info etc.

Phantasms,
I love it, thanks for sharing! But you are lucky you didn't get your thread LOCKED DOWN like I did yesterday for sharing my burn-out pictures and video.

Dude, don’t let it get to you.
Most people here are law abiding, righteous, “responsible drivers” who think 500HP is too much power and enjoy their corvettes driving 55MPH in the slow lane

I can't believe some of these responses. I just took delivery of my blk/blk z06 on Friday. This car is absolutey amazing!!! To leave it in the garage and drive it several times a week to the ICE CREAM store and back home to the garage is a crying shame!!!!!!! This car is begging to be driven and driven hard!!! If you pay 75k for this machine, you should enjoy it however you please!!!! If you want to wax it twenty times a week and drive it 8 miles a week, that's your choice. Just keep your opinions in your low mileage z06 that the next owner will enjoy!!!!!! For the ones who want to REALLY enjoy the car, keep the posts coming!!!! I think the video footage was awesome!!!

You need some dialogue over that and I have just the idea.

"KITT, where are you? I need your help!"
"I'm coming Michael! I'll be right there!"

Seriously,
Phantasms- Cool vid. Ignore the Nancys.
Nancys- Loosen up. I guy does a burnout in HIS car, in a private area away from pedestrians, and that's a problem becaauuse...???

you're da man.. Finally somebody on here that got the ***** to really lay the hammer down on their Z.

And I can't believe somebody called that a ricer burnout. I know people with V8s that can't pulled figure 8 burnouts like that without hitting the rev limiter constantly or stalling out.. Hey guy, I bet you couldn't do one without kicking it out and stalling it out..lame

I bought a Corvette Z06 in spite of the majority of Corvette owners.. :P

I tried that a couple times but it kept launching off through the parking lot and the dash read 'Active Handling' Kidding...

I did a real nice one of those just two days ago just after the 1,000 mile easy break in. I couldn't contain myself anymore! Kind of like having the hottest supermodel chick in the world for a girlfriend that you could do anything you wanted to BUT were supposed to wait a month after you got her.... oh it felt so good when those 4 digits finally popped up on the Odometer!

I simply don't agree with locking these threads. It goes against the spirit of Zora. He would be rolling over in his grave if he knew of this. But he probably watches the forums that allow documentaries of spirited driving.
