I feel your pain...that's my valve spring/locked up engine thread. I also had the hydrocarbon pad sucked into my intake and disable the car about a month after getting the new engine broke in.

Just had the car towed to dealer. They don't know what's wrong with it yet but said they will call me as soon as they know anything. Not sure if they will be able to look at the car today or if it will have to wait till Wednesday due to the break.

They won't be able to look at the car until Wednesday, I will be in Cancun till Sunday night so I'll post an update when I get back.

Yes, they are a part of the emission equipment and I doubt that anyone in GM official-dom even knows they are an issue, since many of those of us that have found issues with them coming loose just... handled it... ourselves.

Picked up an 05 Gallardo today so will be selling the Z06 when I get it back. What do you guys recommend? Autotrader?

Leaving it at the dealership to the next week and Ill drive it down from ATL to Orlando then. Car has one previous owner, fully optioned, 700 miles on the odometer.

Enjoy your new car. What a switch. I've never seen that car on the road in Canada. Only at the autoshows... and only in yellow too.

Theres a black gallardo that is a local car here. There is a yellow one that came in for the holiday weekend. Bada** looking cars.

We Checked out some of the Lambo's at the dealership in our recent trip to Rome. Sweet rides!! Of course the competition a few doors down were no slouches To bad about your Z, Good luck with the new ride.
