Where are all the DSOM ZO6's?
Lets see some pictures of the DSOM Z's. They seem to be so rare, you never see them. So, whoever's got them, represent!

Your car looks great. Its too bad they dont offer it anymore. Atomic orange is growing on me day by day, but does not compare to DSOM

Awesome color. I was close to getting it, but went with black. Funny how the GM quarter panel emblems, disappear in pic posts. Removed mine too. Any way, It's a very Merry Christmas here in the mid-west, as we're still driving our Z' in the unusually mild December weather.

Here you go, califbiglar:
As far as I know, they haven't discontinued the color for 2008. Until they do drop the color, or until the end of the C6 model run, we won't know how many they made.
I don't know if demand for AO is running any higher than the just under 5% that was DSOM.
Yep, that's Busse Woods off Higgins in Schaumburg. I live at the north end of Arlington Heights, so Busse Woods is a good place to hang out and take pics.
I do love the way the car looks in the sun. For me, it's best in sun, OK in indirect light, but always rich and never over the top. AO seems to wash out in bright light, though it looks killer in moderate and diffuse light, and it's a little too bright for me.
The only C6 color I like better is the Monterey Red, which is sadly not available on the Z.

Picked her up 01/17/2006 with 8 miles and now she's aging beautifully at 1100. This is our first Christmas together! What an awesome ride!
...usually poses as a waxer until she hits the streets!
Merry Christmas to all my Corvette brothers and sisters out there!

Once I saw a one of these cars, I really fell in love with the color. However, there is a reason why they are so rare - not many people like a car that is orange, even though this orange is more brown than traditional orange, so nobody ordered them, and most dealers didn't have the ***** to buy them for inventory.

DSOM was my second (1A) choice. I couldn't pull the trigger. Fantastic color though!! As far as final numbers for Atomic Orange, once the final run of 2007's have been made Chevrolet will announce numbers within weeks.

We're BIG DSOM fans! Wifes 2005 DSOM, Z51, vert. My 2006 DSOM, Z06.
Check our profile. Having a hard time warming up to the AOs I've seen. May just take some getting used to. Quite a difference between AO and DSOM in my opinion.
