I am thinking of only changing the C6Zo6 tips on my orginal mufflers to eliminate drone, I think the orginal is loud enough for me. Any suggestions?is it possible?

I dont see how changing ONLY the tips would eliminate drone. Your stock exhaust should not be droning anyway, do you have the fuse pulled?

Oh ok, so you have an aftermarket exhaust, and want to switch back to the stock exhaust..but you dont like the stock tips. I think changing the tips may be a problem with the butterfly vavles in there.

messing with the tips on any exhaust is usually more trouble then its worth.

I was stupid and tried this once on my RX8 stock exhaust, i quickly saved up and put a REAL catback on it.

With just the tips - you have to worry about a quality welding job, getting them on straight, lined up, etc etc. And the tips will NOT change the sound at all.

thanks for the tip on the tips. About the sound change I know tips doesn't change sound. I am doing this because I like the sound of the orginal and the looks of the aftermarket exhausts.
