Honestly, how many cars can they sell at over msrp in this market. I would hold out a few weeks and I bet these will be going for less than msrp. It just isn't the same market as it was when the Z06 came out.

the thing is, getting a loan is hard enough now, even if you are rich enough to be able to buy this car.. but to have to come up with THOUSANDS out of pocket?? please..

That's good news as I'm waiting to get one at or below MSRP. I'm hoping just after the first of the year so I don't have to pay property tax for that year.

I've never been very good at being patient but this time, I'm trying so very hard.

If you get it, post up some pics.

Be patient, that extra month or two of waiting could end up saving you $10K once they start sitting on lots at MSRP.

You won't have much longer to wait. Winter's coming, economy woes, and these things are going to be sitting. They are not flying off the floors now because of the pricing. No car is worth over MSRP. Don't do it.

He's working on $7500 over ? and is that supposed to be a compliment to him ? Keep a poker face and offer MSRP, 30-45 days from now, if they don't call some one else will

"working on" is dealer speak of hey let me call every one else, list on ebay, etc. and see if I can get MSRP + 8500 first.

Besides, are you taking whatever color is first available? Great if Red is your first choice, but kinda odd if not, to shell out over 100K for whatever is out there first.

As said above all you have to do is wait a month or two and save 7K. I don't care how rich you are, thats still fun $ or could help a charity.

Once you get into the 100-grand-and-over range, if you need a loan you really can't afford the car. It's a toy, not a necessity. The economies of the world are in the mess they're in because too many people have been living beyond their means for years, buying things they don't need with money they don't have

Wait another month and you should be able to get one for MSRP.

Default ZR1 sales will be hurtin

Stock market dropped to new world lows this am!!! GM shares below 5...Even Toyota is posting terrible sales..If the ZR1 is in such demand why are there any at any dealers? (please note I can't afford one anyway). The few months will be interesting, but it sure seems at though prices will drop.
