Default Texas Mile

Well, I finally hit 200, just took 2 years, but hit 200.3 mph. we only spayed 1 kit, 150 shot, never used second stage. our goals were to hit 200 mph on stock bottom end, now we will take apart and put in better rods end pistons, and a few other thing. next spring, we shoot for 210

Want to thank FIS performance for all the time we could get on the dyno. And thanks to Big Willie H. and Tracy for the hard work.

mods on car

mild cam, stock bottom end, headers, varam intake, corsa exhaust. stand alone fuel system. built trans from Six Speed Inc., custom tuning from FIS, nitro dave (chris) for support.

we also like to thank Mr. Patron, if not we would have not been drunk enough Sat. night!!!!!!!!

want to send congrats to all the vette guys to hit 200, it is that addictive. and as you know, it is that hard to hit 200mph

Congracts on the run!

200mph is moving and it looks like you did it without breaking the bank in mods!

Custom gear ratios? If so, what did you choose?

Congradulations Mike. I wish you could of run again Sunday morning-you would of broke that speed by serveral mph. It must of been the Patron that eliminated the Sunday runs. Well at least we had a good time on Saturday. Thanks for the invite. Looking forward to next year and hitting 210.

Very nice. What nitrous kit did you go with and what accessories are you running with it?

Another congrats goes out to ya!!! The hubby and I were out there Saturday and saw you run....awesome!!! I was suppose to run, but my Mustang wasn't ready in time. Oh well, it gives me alot more time to make sure the car is running like it should.

Hope to see ya in March. Hopefully, I will be running at that time....gunning for 200mph myself.

nitro dave stand alone fuel system, direct port system spraying a 150 shot(actually seen 125 on dyno) and a plate system 100 shot ( we see 80 on dyno) we are running ngk plugs #7's. c-16 in fuel system. we made 620 wrhp on a mustang dyno, on just the 150 kit. i have a rpm window switch @ 4000k-7000k, and foot activations switch. i am spraying through every gear. and running 109 vp in car

Congrats! Very nice - hitting 200 mph is not as easy as everyone seems to think.

Do you have a special tune to run the vp 109? Do you have to run race gas at all times or can you run pump gas? I am headed to the TX mile in March and I am trying to figure out how much RWHP I will need to hit 200 mph. It looks like 620 RWHP got you there.

the only thing we changed is timing for nos. we just run 109 in tank for more safety. this car is mostly used for road racing with nasa. its just a bonus to hit 200mph in the mile. next week i will be racing at harris hills in san marcus. and that 620 # is on a mustang dyno, which will show little lower #'s then a dynojet. just had some good tires, some r'6s, and bang some gears. we never even taped the car off.
