My cyber gray Z06 arrived today
I was bored of driving a truck every day, so I got something a little more economical. Should be easier to park also. This will be my sunny weather daily-driver.
2009 Z06, cyber gray, 2LZ, red/black interior, comp gray wheels. Picked it up for a little more than $10,000 off MSRP. Good time to be a buyer!
Still putting some break-in miles on it, only has 25 right now. I can't wait to romp it at 7K rpm once the recommended 500 miles hits.

Nice ride Tony... I just posted a few shots of my Cyber Gray Z06 with some nice fall foliage. I get a lot of compliments on the color combination with the Comp Gray wheels. Subtle, nice combo.
I hadn't seen a Cyber Gray with the Ebony/Red interior. Not quite as subtle as the exterior!!! Nice look though.
I had 3M film applied to the front fascia, headlights, fog lights, 1/3 up the hood, lower front fenders behind the wheels, lower doors up about 4 inches, rocker panels, rear quarter panels in front of the wheels, and finally the fender flairs above the rear brake ducts. It's hardly noticable, but there to protect all of the vulnerable surfaces from stone hits.
Now is the time to get the film put on if you're going to do it. I had mine done before I even took it from the dealer.
Good luck with your car. Wait till you get that first 500 miles on it and then take her for a nice romp...

Steve, I am already planning the clear bra treatment. I do it to each of my chrome-challenged modern cars.
I learned my lesson from owning the black C6 prior to this one. With only 9K miles on it, the nose was speckled a bit with rock chips.

Congrats Tony......got here sooner that I thought.
Looking forward to seeing it and getting some seat (passenger) time. Let me know what you think about it compared to your SC Z51.
The power delivery is so smooth and linear you don't realize your speeds. It lulls you into a false sense of going slow but in reality its just the opposite...just wait till after a few thousand miles...
So when does the modding begin...??

Love it! Had Cyber been an option in 07 when I got my Z that would have been my choice. there's a zr1 cyber two blocks down from my house in Santa Monica, he also has a white GTR.

Come on Dennis, it is modded already. Notice the side marker black-outs? haha
Initial comparison vs my '05 supercharged Z51 is that this one is too slow and needs mods. 550 rwhp vs 440 rwhp will do that. I may just do a mild cam and headers for now, nothing too lopey or dynojet-savvy. I prefer throttle response and torque output, over dyno figures. The Viper has spoiled me in the torque dept.

LOL...give it a few thousand miles a few bolt ons & tune you'll be at 480+ and I'll bet you'd give your ole' SC Z51 a run for it's money, guaranteed. Again congrats amigo I'm happy for ya. Hope to be there soon as well...

lol, I used to break-in my new LS engines at the dragstrip. 10-seconds at a time. Those engines didn't last me too long, either. I would always "Get Bit" with that method
Here is a break-in pass of a 434ci LS6, all-motor. It lasted about 50 passes before a rod broke
