IPOD Hook-up and Factory Stereo Blues!
I am a newbie here and have a dumb question.
Just got a 2008 Z06 that has the NAV/Stereo option.
In the manual it says there is an auxillary jack on the right lower face of the stereo to plug in an IPOD, but I cannot find anything?
Did some of the NAV/Stereos come without this option?
If so will I have to get something like Crutchfiels sells?
Not that impressed with this Bose system as it stands - wondering if anyone has tried tweaking their stereo with upgraded speakers, amp, etc?

I think the aux jack is for non-Nav units. I replaced all my speakers, added a subwoofer and 2 Alpine amps and kept the stock Nav unit. Also added an Ipod adaptor.

Won't be found...
At least in 2008, the non-nav units have the aux. input jack on the front face. That's one of the reasons I chose the no-nav. Plus I like the adventure of navigating by "dead reckoning"
