Very cool! Looks awesome.
I actually went vinyl at one point and removed it because it looked so "flat"...seeing it painted on makes me rethink the stripe thing again.

I really dislike the cheapness of vinyl decals on such a nice car like the Corvette. The decals never look perfectly smooth, and the edges gather wax. They just cheapen the vehicle IMHO. That painted stripe is perfect, nice job!

It looks very good. I usually hate hood decorations but yours really looks excellent.
