The Pfadt coilover allows you to adjust ride height and damping. So the car can be lowered, and even corner balanced, yet still ride well.

We will begin a new special for the month of May.
Next month's special will be Complete Custom, Eddy Brake, Dyno Tuning. We tune all parameters, not just wide open throttle. Our tuning includes idle, part throttle, and wide open throttle tuning.
Mention this thread and receive a complete tune for only $475. This special applies only to cars that are utilizing the factory GM ECU.
For more information about the machine and test cell, click on www.SECdyno.com.

Coilovers give that sweet nice "ride on rails" feel. I like to refer to it as a BMWish feel/ride. The steering wheel feels stable at all speeds as well as limiting body roll. They inspire confidence by keeping the car more planted ad rigid.
Now ride height can be "properly" lowered and still give you full rate of suspension travel.
And although it's done quite often due to cost savings... Lowering a car by the bolts everyone does it. Technically it's not the correct way to lower a car.
You really must ride/drive in a coilover equipped car to appreciate or not, the coilover advantage.
IMHO, it is a nice addition to an already great handling car.
Coilovers are for the pure peformance hounds.
