Killer Bee Tune
Hey Guys... I bought a 2007 z06 which had a stock halltech tune done to it. After i installed headers/exhaust i tired to hook up a DiabloSport Predator Tuner, which wouldnt work cause it was locked !!! after finding out that Halltech did the orginal tune, jim agreed to email me a upgraded tune if i bought his Intake.( or i had to pay $100 to unlock it and get back to stock). Anyways i have a few questions and was hoping someone can chime in.....
1. If i do any further upgrades will i need a NEW upgraded email tune from halltech??
2. After explaining to Jim all the upgrades and a email tune was sent. How do you know that your car is running to the full potential ??

Well, I don't see why a tune would be locked, or why it would take an intake or $100 to unlock it.
I might be a chance that you don't need another tune after headers, but I wouldn't bet on it.
It would depend on the upgrades on the retune or not. The car will usually let you know if you need a retune.
If I do something by mail, I really like to send the comp. to the tuner with the new mods done. Then he can read what it needs.

The orginal owner had a tune done to it. With out knowing this i tried to to my own with diablo sport.(it was locked !!) Once i talked to the orginal owner, he told me he got a tune done by Halltech and he sent me the UBS cord. I spoke to Jim, and told him the changes i did since i bought it. He said he can upgrade the orginal tune to the upgrades i made ( headers/intake/exshaust)> i dont know anything about "email tunes" Just want to know my car is running to full potential. I guess what im saying if i had something in my hand (diablo) and was dealing with a local dealer i cant feel more comfortable knowing car is the way i want it. make any sense???? lol

ok ive done that!!!! i should have no worries then?? can i asume the car is running top notch!! if i get a dyno done, where do u think i should be at?
