Default New Piloti Sebrings are AWESOME!!

These have got to be THE MOST COMFORTABLE shoes I've ever owned!! I think I'll try a couple other styles/colors now.

Why is this Z06 related, you ask? Well, aside from the cool design intended to assist heel-toe shifting, the black with "tifosi" red stitching will BEAUTIFULLY complement my new '09 2LZ's ebony seats with red stitching...

I got them from Endless.com (owned by Amazon) for $149.95. I'd have gotten them from a forum vendor, but Endless offers free shipping both ways to overseas military addresses and I wasn't sure of the size. I normally wear an 11 which is what I ordered, and they fit perfectly! Seriously, they're so comfortable, that when I got home I actually kept them on the rest of the night. I've NEVER done that with shoes before. Also, I have flat feet, and while I wouldn't say these have like orthopedic support (I didn't expect that), they certainly weren't devoid of arch support either.

I've been eyeing the saddle brown leather Prototipo's for a long time. Those will be next I think.

I always wear my Piloti 32's when i drive the Z. It's like Isotoners for your feet.

Go walk around the mall for a few hours and bet you wont think they are the most comfortable then. They are nice but solely for driving IMO.

That's a great price!! I wonder if it's because it's an older model than the Sebring or because of the limited and odd sized inventory that they have left?

Do these shoes fit into the rules of SCCA, NASA, and for drag racing. Because they are nice looking and my shoes went into the garbage last fall.

They are not fire resistant, as per their website. They fall under the touring class.

I have 2 pairs of Prototipos that are super comfortable. I want to get the leather Prototipos too, but now I'll check these out for sure. Piloti had a closeout last year on a lot of the wild colors and I bought both pairs on Ebay for less than $50 per pair. They also had a deal at SEMA. If you wear the real nomex drivers shoes daily as opposed to the touring line they wear out very fast. There were some of the pro-line nomex shoes on Ebay last fall too.

I'm skeptical of buying shoes online only because of possible fit issues...

Any retail stores carry these?...

I have heard they are carried in ROSS stores. I have 2 pairs of the Prototipos and an additional 2 pairs of 2 other models I can't remember. I love all my Pilotis and wear them whenever I drive my Z06. I have gotten all of my pairs for around $30 each when I see someone post up a a deal for them on slickdeals.net or other enthusiast websites.

I buy from sportsmansguide.com. It's hit or miss but over the past year I've acquired 4 pairs all for under $30 each!

Yep sportsmansguide is where I got most of my pairs. I just couldn't remember the website name.

I'm 99% sure it's the same shoe. They may go by different names depending on who sells it.

Sometimes there is a full inventory, sometimes not. At those prices, they seem to go quickly. As I said, I've ordered 3 pairs over the last couple of years.

"Lusso" means luxury, which the Prototipos (and the Sebrings) are from the Luxury line of Piloti.

Me too but I just don't think that I can get my size 10.5 foot to feel right in that size 15 that they have available.
