Looks nice and I like the hood and suspension but can't justify the price increase over what I paid for my 09.
Thoughts ???

Looks nice, but wonder why mimic the ZR1 hood bulge.

I could care less about the appearance package part of this, but the Z07 option with brakes/suspension is very interesting as it can be ordered on 2011 Z06's
Amazing that this upgrade will knock 3 seconds per lap from a 2010 Z06 (according to GM).......that's amazingly close to the ZR1 and down 130+hp to boot.

I like it.. but I agree with most. Buy a "normal" Z06 throw some Brembos on it. Some suspension, add a H/C pkg and go to town on this "Carbon" edition. And still have money to burn. of course this is my .02boost

They need to take this car to the Nurburgring. The current 7:42 time was done on a 2006 Z06 with a standing start and the crappy Goodyears. The ZR1's 7:26.4 was done with a flying start as it should be. A 2011 with Z07 & CFZ should be well into the 7:30s if not better.

Not liking the hood or the door decals... The rest looks decent though.

Similar, but significantly limiting the numbers (500) and using specific colors for the actual Carbon versions of the car. There probably won't be very many of the "non carbon" versions of the car ordered with the optional goodies either.
grand sports are as common as hash marks on a football field.

Weight`?
any words on weight savings ?
And i HOPE they have sense to offer a Michelin Pilot Cup tire as option, makes record setting soooo much more realistic.
There is no way Nurburgring records can be done without proper tires

Interesting comment "ZR1 owners looking to swap out their hoods will be disappointed to learn that the Carbon hood will not fit their cars. Because of the absent window, the Z06 hood has different structure underneath that won't clear the ZR1 engine's intercooler."
Guess there are far more folks not happy with the Hot Wheels hood than we thought.
It's about time the Z06 received a freshening, but I was priced out of the market with the current Z06 so I'll just have to admire these if when I see one from afar.
