Default Where to get high output alternator?

My '06 Z06 has and electric water pump and is about to have 900W amp and I feel that I need to increase the output of the alternator but I havent found anyone that can rewind them. Does anyone know where I can get mine rewound or buy one with higher output? Also, does anyone have feelings on what battery is best for these cars? Im thinking about optima but I dont know if theyre really much better than stock.

GM now makes a 150 amp alternator. I sold a couple of them for customers looking to upgrade. It also costs less than the one that came with the car from the factory, lol. Please contact me directly if you're interested.

Thats good to know. I have dealt with countless high output alternators in my past cars and found that most any of the custom ones or rewound ones just dont last. The only one I have ever owned that lasted is a Lestek Alternator.

150 Amps is pretty good output for a factory option. That would definately be the way I would go should my battery not be up to my stereos demand on my C6Z. I would give Gene a call and strongly consider that as the first option.

Thanks a ton but Im looking at pulling over 2000W or so, therefore I want a 200 amp or higher alternator to get sufficient "factor of safety" so to speak. Thanks again.
