do you have a link to these parts? I was thinking about just glassing a piece of L shaped strip of aluminum in the lower part of the splitter (from behind of couse)

Another vote for the Katech piece. I've seen plenty of these in person and they are great quality, I will be doing my own over the winter and I will get it from them.

I don't have that email any longer. It was only $168 plus $14 shipping. Should be here soon, been waiting on the front and rear splitters for almost 3wks though.

Yup, the difference is that he can buy another one if it gets smacked up in a driveway (and that is just a matter of time!).

Hi Guys,

Our ZR1 splitter is what we built to solve the problem.

It has the bottom panel built in and that makes it very strong which eliminates the flex that the stock ZR1 splitter would have on a Z06 without the factory brace.

Here are a couple of photos and the link to our site. In stock ready to ship.

Side skirts available in carbon also.

Thanks
Lou Gigliotti

Your spoiler is not available in regular FG though. Does not make much sense for me to buy CF just to paint over to match the car. BTW, that flexing, this most likely could be totally eliminated by simply making a bottom flange L-shaped and curved up in the back? l am thinking about just glassing in an L shaped metal bracket in the bottom lip as a fast and simple cure for my range of speeds. Your design is better than OEM style reinforcement that requires bumper removal but still, pretty pricey IMO and requiring removal of OE front dam (I like having it because it makes a great first line of defense against scraping

I agree! If you are going to paint it, Im sure there is a blem splitter laying around if you still are in the market for one. You could save money and have the design you want, and still not feel bad about painting it!

Interesting and I sent a PM but may be too late since I got a great offer from cianci. Not to mention I want to change this splitter a bit to suit my personal needs.

I think we have 2 blemished splitters.

Really not too bad but hard to fix the clear on them without a total re clearing so they would be perfect for painting.

Give Bobby or Anthony a call and they can help you out
