Default ****new halltech super bee fiberglass fg102******

Halltech's Super Bee™ FG102 is our record breaking Super Bee™ fiberglass version of the Super Bee™ CF112 Carbon intake. Made from the same mold as our Super Bee™ it is identical in performance by requires ZERO TUNING. This unit is designed and tested on both the LS3 and Z06 for perfect idle, perfect long term fuel trims, without the need for MAF recalibration.

It features Halltech's exclusive MAF forward design and comes with the LS7 MAF extension harness which allows under the Beehive MAF isolation.

This is the ultimate performance mod for your C6 LS3 or Z06. It features our MAF forward design for under the Beehive heat isolation and better IATs. The Beehive is a ram air design, which is fed by the NACA duct on the Z06 or small cutouts required on the LS3. Dyno testing has proven over 33 RWHP when full tuning is added, but tuning is optional not required with this induction system. The black gel-coat finished is a perfect gloss, with a finish better than the body panels. It can be prepped for color matching if you so desire.

Onsale through Thanksgiving Day. $512.99

So, in theory will this unit provide the same gains when you add tuning as the Carbon112 version?

What happened to this? I've got one and was going to send a fellow Z06 owner the link for it, but it's not on the website anymore?

I have one, but haven't put it on yet... breaking in my new clutch right now then I'll take it to the dyno and do some back to back testing.

The Super Bee with the MAF forward design eliminates all issues related to surging. Idle is glass smooth guaranteed.

This is literally a plug and play unit. The MAF transfer code is the same as stock, which means no recalibration of the MAF tables, no surging, no tuning and perfect long term fuel trim averages.

Our MAF forward design has been a real help where major airflow is pushed into the Beehive.

The prototype was designed by me, and over $5,000 in costs just to develop a rapid prototype part from a idea I had years ago. The CAD design features many things I cannot discuss here but for those that understand flow, pictures will lend to more understanding.

This is the Carbon Fiber Version. It is larger only due to the thinner material used:

Not only did we design the intake through Solid Works/Rapid Prototype, but I completely redesigned the Killer Bee II filter through K&N Engineering with a built in velocity stack in the filter flange. All Super Bees and Killer Bees, Venom IIs come with our 4.5" inlet and 15" width new filter. This has been the case since the inception of the Killer Bee II and Super Bee over the last 1 1/2 years. These features helped to bump the HP on Katech's dyno to 15 and torque to 14.

One last picture. The unit on the right is the finished rapid prototype made of ABS. It is not a glossy as the gel coated FG102. Oh, and the gel coat can easily be prepped for color matching to your car.

Default Halltech Carbon Footprint

If you decide to go the Carbon Fiber direction, it is over 1 lb lighter and matches our GT2 Waterfall hood:

So, I'm a bit confused. Is this going to replace the Killer Bee II, or is one better than the other for different applications?

What are the gains without a tune?

Better only if you plan on running the larger Williams Performance Throttle body later. That will not physically fit with the KB2 onboard.

Other than that no.

It does not replace the KB2.

Gains are 15 HP/ 14 lbs ft. on the Katech engine dyno, no tuning.

Hey Jim, what do your intakes usually gain rwhp on a otherwise stock Z06? Thanks.
