Default black smoke right at start up.

06 Z06, 13,500 miles. Only run at the track a few times. It's got a K&N Air intake, ported tb and a Hypertech max energy programmer. Went to move it last night and it poured heavy black smoke for a few seconds. NEVER done this before last night.

blsck smoke would indicate a rich condition, blue smoke is oil. any chance you took a sniff of it?

my guess would be a faulty fuel pressure regulator, or somehow a fuel injector allowing fuel to pass through it?
