Think again as new 2010s are going for around $100K. Seems like that would mean your 2011 would net something less. I would keep it or be willing to take somewhat of a whacking in a quick sale.

no offense but prepare to lose your britches on it. unless you got a hell of a deal to start with.

anytime gm offers 0 percent for a long period on their higher end cars it always drops the bottom out of the pricing for them when it comes time to resale. seen it happen with z06's as well as new cts-v's

Can't see why one would buy a ZR1. Then want to sell them quickly.
Expect to lose your shorts in the process.

I agree with the others. You'll take a beating.

Obviously if something has happened in your life that you need to do this, that's understandable and you need to do what you need to do.

If that's not the case, I think you'd be nuts to sell it. You paid good money for the car. Enjoy it for a while.

I will give 12k plus my 2009 Z06 for the CR Zr1 with Cashmere. If it did not have cashmere, 13k plus my 2009 z06.

A person's financial situation can change of course. However, the one possible motivation for selling would be found in resale values.

IF resale were strong and IF the buyer had bought for a low price relative to the market THEN it might be possible to sell for about what you paid for the car.

If this were the case then the 5000 miles and time owned would be at little or no cost. It all depends on resale. If resale is weak or very weak then this strategy would not work.

Kind of like flipping a car. The fly in the ointment here would be the low cost financing and general condition of unsold '10s etc.

I have been keeping an eye on the market. Thye seems tro be asking around $100k for ones similar to yours, but they are not selling for this. I would expect your to seel for $92 - $97K.

Good luck.

One Forum member recently (past month) sold his 2010 car for around $85k with 9000 miles...it wouldn't sell on the Forum...a reseller bought it...said to be close to perfect...and presently available...under $90k.

Another Spring Mt. car, (2010) is available for very low 90's with 9000 miles...it's been for sale for awhile...probably not perfect...

In my opinion, your car is worth more than both of these, they are 'twins' to your car...You have fewer miles...you have a 2011 car...and your car is perfect as well.

How much more is the agreed price where a sale will take place...

Your main competition are new cars with 0% financing...if/when 2011 cars are offered with this financing, it might be hard to get 90's for a used car...New ones $100k and $113k for 2010 and 2011...possibly less...it's Winter...Everywhere this year...

One small point...a new 2010 or 2011 car comes with Drivers' School...it's worth something too.

Some points in your favor, you have a perfect car with few miles, and you may be willing to 'deal'...and it is already broken-in!!!

Finally, I LOVE your car...The BEST color of many great colors available...in my opinion...

I actually hope you choose to keep it...

The above car sold yesterday and is coming "across the pond" to New South Wales, Australia to be converted to right hand drive. Once completed there will be 5 RHD C6ZR1's in Australia.

BTW, it sold for $89K

mpizz, good luck selling your 2011 C6ZR1

99,600 and walk away?....... if you are serious about selling and not just feeling things out I do not think you will see much if any more than that.

Not with a brand new 2010's at 0% available at the same price and virtually the same car.

Still I wish you absolute best and hope that you are considering this sale because you have your eyes on a new toy and loosing money means nothing to you.
