Default MCM hood

Just got in a MCM regular profile hood to put on my Z. This thing is unbelievably LIGHT. The fedex guy even asked if there was anything in the box!! The hood fits perfect. The edges follow the fender lines and are not raised in the center like many other after market hoods I have seen. The finish is very good and will not take much prep work before painting. The hood does not flex when opening and closing from one side and is not much higher than stock when sitting inside the car looking out. For those with centri S/C's there is no need to good with the high profile hood. The normal proflie has plenty of clearance for my ECS 2200

I had an MCM hood on my C5 Z06, the fit and finish was amazing. Can't wait to see it painted.

That hood looks mean on that car, are you going with a solid color or do you have something else planned?

I always thought these were the best looking ones out there. Does it also drop the water in between like on the C5 and keep it off all engine parts? And how many have had to "blend" the paint to get a color match? That is the only thing I refuse to do.

Water falls in between t/b and radiator. I did not go with the clear center because it will be solid red for now.

I have the CF version and haven't mounted it yet. Best looking hood out there IMO.
I know a certain forum vendor that is going to be offering this hood in FG for about $800.
