Default NEW Z06/ZR1 PRT exhaust from Billy Boat Performance Exhaust

This NEW Billy Boat Performance Exhaust PRT system for the Z06/ZR1 utilizes the latest in resonance control technology from B&B. We completely redesigned and re-engineered the PRT for the C6 and are using the same technology in this system. This simple in design, yet complex in theory, uses a straight through design muffler for a deep aggressive exhaust note when tearing up the streets while the unique purge chamber allows for a mild note at cruising speeds with no interior resonance.

For over 20 years B&B has hand polished each and every system to a mirror like finish and while we are still offering this on all of our products we are excited to introduce a NEW satin finish with optional black ceramic coated tips. This NEW finish options are available on any of our systems.

Feel free to email, PM or call for more information.

Where does this fall in terms of sound & volume compared to your fusion at WOT and cruising?

They say "NEW finish options are available on any of our system", so I'm guessing. Can't wait to see what those tips look like installed.

Maybe this is the solution to my wishes. I'm looking for an aggressive but not raspy sound with no drone (what so ever).

Mark I am looking forward to recieving mine. For those interested I will be doing a quick write-up on the PRT and comparing it to the Fusion and the Bullets since I have had both the Bullets and the Fusions on the car in the past year.

Sounds good, let us know ... I'm looking to get a new exhaust ASAP, spring is almost here and I want one as soon as I take my car out of the garage.

Any word on the weight of these? That was one of the reasons I was looking at the Akrapovic over the Fussions, I know it's not huge, but I just couldn't see adding extra weight.

From the youtube video of the z06 prt's they have a great tone, and I am personally digging those black tips.

Where does this fall in terms of sound & volume compared to your fusion at WOT and cruising?

At WOT the PRT will be a little louder than the Fusion is in the open mode. At cruise it will be very similar to the Fusion in the closed position.

Will those tips be available on the bullets?

Yes, we are going to offer the ceramic black tips on any of our systems.

Is there drone at cruising in 6th at 65-80mph?

With the unique design of the purge chambers in the PRT we are able to get a mellow note at cruising speeds and still have an aggressive note on hard acceleration. You will hear the exhaust note behind the car while at a steady throttle cruising speed however you will still be able to listen to the radio and/or have a conversation without being driven out of the car.

I am very excited to hear your feedback and see the system on your car. I think the black tips are going to look awesome.

I had the PRTs on my c5 Z06 and it was the best sounding exhaust i have yet to hear on a C5 Z, so i can just imagine on our C6 Zs they will sound incredible. From what i remember at WOT the car was loud *** hell , pretty quiet but nice rumble on idle and cruising was excellent didnt have much of a drone yet still loud enough to hear the car coming. All around on my C5 I was more than happy with the exhaust. Cant wait to hear the feedback on this and hear some sound clips of it!

This was on youtube listed as PRT's... never know for sure when it's on youtube, plus it's 3 1/2 years old... any confirmation mark?... I don't want to post a video if it's not accurate.... Seem like they might be bullets???

Early on before the Fusion we had what was known as a Bullet PRT and is what this is in the video. It consisted of a Bullet system and a resonated center section. The new PRT will sound similar to this on hard acceleration however the low rpm cruising note (which you really don't hear in this video) will be milder, especially in the car.

If they are like the C5 PRT's than this is the first after-market cat-back I'd consider as a replacement for the OEM bi-mode exhaust. And the black tips are sweet looking.

Did I miss pricing?
