Default Normal Coolant Temps

What are your normal coolant temps with street spirited driving. Mine was running 220F with 75F ambient temps.

My stock 06 Z06 runs about 202 out on the open road and may see 220 in traffic on a warm day until the fan kicks in.

Pretty much the same for mine. The Z runs slightly warmer than my prior LS2.

Great, still don't know the quirks so I just wanted to make sure there are no issues

My stock 09 Z06 with a Vette-Air scoop to get cool air to the air breather, runs 192* on the highway crusing, at any ambient temp. Sitting still in traffic, it will go up, but as soon as I get moving so that air is flowing through the radiator, it drops back to 192*. Stop and go traffic, it will go up to 195-196*. Running WOT at 150 MPH on the Talladega SuperSpeedWay, when the ambient was low 90's, it went up to 199-200* but when I coasted down to go back to the garage, it quickly dropped. I have the OEM thermostat.

Mine runs between 178-184 for normal driving and gets up to around 200 after a 1/4 mile pass....but then is back down to the low 180's by the time I get back to the pits. Running a 160 thermostat and E85.

I have a 2007 Z06 with a 180 degree thermo.+ tune. I run 205 degree around town and questioned my tuner. He has tuned numerous Vettes and has assured me many of the dash temps displayed are reading a little off.
We have checked with a portable temp (digital) gauge several times and witnessed a big difference.
