[Z06] Problem with start button light...need advice.

When I start the car the green circle light on the push button is not lighting up anymore....do I need a new button? It lights up fine when the car is off...without the engine running so I know the light works...thanks for any help. I searched but couldn't find anything...
It lights up...but then when the car starts it goes off...is that normal.? Am I just being dense? Lol
I am fairly certain that upon ignition and turn over; the light is to go off. The reason for that is to not cause distraction to the driver while the vehicle is in operation. You should be okay if it lights up prior to ignition, and goes off after ignition.
What if the push button start light doesn't come on at all. Car will go to acc, but will not go into run. Cranks but wont start and gauges do not cycle.
No. Car was running and died during a U-turn. and right away the green light was off. Car cranks but green light does not come on and gauges don't cycle.
