If the 2WD has the measurement on the ground, then it should be less than the 4WD since the wheels are removed using the 4WD unit. The tires/wheels consume a fair amount of torque. Since the 4WD doesn't have tires/wheels to turn, you should get a higher reading.

Now, if the dynojet tech decides he wants to make you a hero, he or she can "molest" the dyno into creating big numbers.

There's "real" horsepower, and there's "Dynojet" horsepower. 2 different things...

A AWD dynojet is basically 2 Dynojets together. When dynoing a 2wd car it only uses one dyno.

Dyno jets also can not be "Changed" to make number higher. Thats why most people want dyno jet numbers. Mustang dyno's however you can. You enter the vehicle weight and if that is incorrect it will load the dyno different.

So the Dynojet operator can't play the reading?

What Dynojet stingy Dyno? it read damn low comparing with other dynojets?

The only thing that can be changed is the correction factor. SAE With smoothing on 5 is the best way. It should show it in the top right hand corner on the graph.

How was the weather compared to both of the days you dynoed? Also what is done to your car?

There could be stuff like their barometer and temp sensor read higher/lower than the room conditions so that could have a small effect on corrected numbers.

Its hard to have it in a separate room bc all of the wires for the RPM,Boost ect hook into the same stack that it gets all the weather data from.

dynos can definitely be manipulated, maybe not the dyno itself, but the software that puts out your sheet.

****....I had some guy tell me my 04 cts-v put down 449 rwhp with intake headers tune and exhaust....thats manipulation if you ask me. He even had a printout, and I watched him the whole time....he had previously messed with the settings, as he did nothing out of the norm
