I agree and did the same thing, but I want to keep this car for a long time and drive it at the same time.

It does look spectacular - much better than from the factory.
Just curious, anyone know how much would it cost to repaint the entire car to "as new" ?

I do not know but I would assume more then 10000 and then if you try to resell it at all it might loose value due to a respray

Default Supersonic Blue #101 Fort Collins, CO

Hi there, I have not been on this forum for appx 4 or 5 years. I have #101 in Fort Collins CO, and I am looking for brake pads for the 15.5" ceramic rotors. Does anyone have a good place to shop other than their local Chevy dealer who wants $1800 for front and rears? THanks.

There have been some good deals on Amazon, and their are a few aftermarket options (Endless, etc.).

I am curious, how many miles on the car? Unless it was tracked heavily, it wouldn't be typical for them to need replacement for low to moderate street miles.

Amazon is the go to place for pads, about $900 for front and rear.
171-1010 and 171-1009 are the part numbers. Stock pads are the way to go unless you are doing a lot of tracking then you may prefer something else.

I just signed the papers for #109 a SSB with about 10000 miles on it. I'm getting my list of mods together that I want to do on the car and I've seen that the Halltech intakes will not fit on these cars because the radiator deflector shield is from the ZR1 and it causes clearance issues with the filter. Has anyone come across this problem? And does anyone have any idea what the part # for the Z06 shield is?

Thanks!

Ryan

I confirmed with Haltech that it won't fit and I don't think you can change the shield because the radiator is bigger.
