[ZR1] ordered zr1 feels like its taking forever

I guess I must have walked into the right place at the right time. And, more than once. Like maybe four times. 
I purchased a Callaway Corvette SC580 new from Tropical Chevrolet in Miami for considerably less than a new Z06 costs in the same model year. Awhile later I brought a 2010 Camaro at a super price.
This past January, the sales manager, Mark Diaz, knew I wanted the 2010 ZR1 he had sitting there, and made me an offer I never dreamed I could get.
The only dealer that I've experience not having such great deals is Maroone. Several of my friends have purchased at Corvettes Ed Morse, and are happy with the deals they got.

Guess it may have just been bad timing.
I won't, and haven't ruled out local dealerships for purchasing new or used cars. In fact I would prefer dealing locally, they've just been "way" more expensive than what I've found.

Mine was at 3400 for several weeks in August this year, and that was when the factory was operating full time. Then it took another 3 weeks before it was available to ship. Sometimes cars are pulled out of sequence to fix issues, and the shipping can be long and drawn out depending on if transport and batches are available to make up and ship. All 'Vettes are shipped on trucks.
Then some Dealers put them outside to sit in the elements instead of the special showroom they should be in
