I have ruined one at this point. I haven't pulled into a spot since. Carbon fiber prices are scary..

Default Clip Fix

When I first got my Z this was a on going problem; However, after 2.5 years I now know where the front of the car ends. The worst was when a muskrat ran across the road and I hit it and took out two of the mounting clips. I drilled a couple of holes through the splitter into the bumper and inserted push button clips to secure it. Now if I accidentally run into a curb the push button clips pull out. I also sand the splitter with a couple of different grades of sandpaper and coat it with back to black, reinsert the clips and am good to go.
