You could use those. Putting them upside down wouldn't make a difference. GM only recommends using the pucks in the rear shipping slots. A piece of 2x4 works well also. Use of the pucks was mandatory on the C5 since the rocker panel only had a small opening at the rear shipping slot but you could get away without anything on a C6 as long as your jack pad was the correct size and depth.
