Lowered stock bolts today
Like many of the other threads have said, it's an extremely easy process once the car is off the ground.
Took about 1.5 hours, most of which was jacking the car up, securing it on jack stands and taking the wheels off.
I got roughly 2 1/2 turns on each bolt and left the stock bushings in place.
I measured from the ground to each fender lip and got ~1/2"-5/8" drop on the fronts and 3/8"-1/2" on the rears. It's subtle and doesnt look obviously dropped, but it looks better than it did last night, imo.
The rears stood up a full 1.5" higher when i let the rear end down, it was so dramatic i was questioning if i rotated the bolt clockwise by accident. I didnt. I quick lap around the neighborhood and they settled.
I'll post a picture when i get a chance.

I've been wanting to do this, but I have the same driveway challenge. I can avoid scraping it if I take an extreme angle, but there's still the occasion where I scrape the nose. And I want a splitter on it eventually, too, so I doubt lowering it is an option.
But I do love the way it looks.

-Jack front end up and put jack stands in place.
-Remove the front wheels.
-Use floor jack directly on the composite leaf spring (get as close to the outside as you can), to relieve tension on A-arm.
-You'll see a 10mm bolt head on the edge of the leaf spring.
-Once tension is taken off (via lifting on the spring with floor jack....maybe an inch or so), take a 10mm ratchet to the bolt, turning it counter clockwise until it no longer turns. I was able to get approx 2 1/2 turns out of each.
-Remove floor jack from leaf spring, put wheel back on, do the same thing on opposite side front. Then do the same on the rear.
I didnt have any wd-40 handy, but if i did, i would have sprayed a dab on each bolt prior to turning. I only have ~6k miles and 3 of the 4 bolts were a little 'dry'.

2008 z06
Bought my Z06 USED in December of 2011, it's a 2008 Z06. Like how it sits, but not sure if this is stock height or if it been lower on stock bolts. Bought it from a dealer so can't ask the owner.

The first pic I have above, is the best side view I have now. Yeah look about the same. At least it's a nice looking gap, not like my 02 Z06 that was too much of a gap, look like a 4x4 lol.

Stock ride height, I've noticed that the front is generally a little higher than the rear. On my car it was about a 3~ finger gap for the front, 2.5~ in the rear.
Its hard to tell with your pics, but the gap looks about even between the front and rear. It is possible your car was very slightly lowered.
