The Super Bee has the MAF sensor forward which reads the IAT, intake air temp, at a cooler location away from engine heat. This cooler location helps prevent the ECM from pulling timing which begins when the IAT reaches 86 degrees F. The oem, KB I and KB II MAF location are above the radiator hose in the engine compartment where there is heat.
I believe HP differences are minimal, but the Super Bee has an advantage with the MAF forward design. I am sure Jim Hall from Halltech will chime in.
