Has the car been purposefully built to drive and corner on the sidewalls of the tyres?

I see this a lot with some recent "tuner" cars. It looks 'cool' but cannot imagine it is setup for optimal safety or handling.

You're right, we can't compare 20" low profile street radials to 18" or 19" street approved track tires, but the car is daily ride, and this was first just testing everything works track day.. Car is actually daily drive in summer including European road trip and driving with it maybe five track days just for fun. Yes, Nurburgring calls
My speed on the track is so slow it's same with what tires I'll drive there because want to keep it safely.
Must say, Toyo Proxes T1R was very positive suprised also on track with traction and handling to compare R888

Very nice!
Missing the flags on the back of the car though.
The flags should not be removed. It is a corvette and it should have the flags. Just my 2c
