WRONG !

I had a discussion earlier this week with the company that is having the gears made in Italy. A quantity of production 3.90 and 4.10 C6 Z06-ZR1 ring and pinion gear sets were shipped by container this week. Standard shipping time from Italy to Chicago is four to five weeks.

I will let you know when they arrive in Chicago.

No!

I have been working with one supplier for over two years. I work directly with their Vice President of Engineering.

I have the first 4.10 prototype gear set in my Z06.

Lol not a huge difference between 5 weeks shipping and 60 days. Point is...they should have been available years ago.

I believe the link you had is a rear C6 Dif case that is set up for a C6Z power trail and that is why there are a variety of gears available.

The gears discussed here are for a C6Z differential case, not the C6 dif. case.

That is the wrong ring gear. That ring gear above is 8.25 inches the C6 Z06 is a 9.0 inch ring gear. I think they mention the Z06 for the RPM rear mentioned above that people have been using for years with a regular C6 rear. Because of the larger size of the C6 Z06 ring gear it would not fit in any of the regular C5 / C6 housings.

Have to agree. Different ring and pinion. C5 is much smaller. C6Z/ ZR1 is its own set.
