UPDATE/REPLACE your trans with a NEW GM 2012 Z06 TR6060, $3500 installed.............
Don't see many of the C6Z transmissions failing, but wanted to provide a solution if needed.
2012 Z06 TR6060 available new from GM, $3500 installed
I will be using Kevin at www.partstaxi.com(GM dealer in Delaware) to supply the Z06 trans, these are not rebuilt or surplus, no drama.

To get things moving, I will install a new GM TR6060 Z06 trans for $2000 with your "functional" Z06 T56 in trade
I have some local Supercharged C5's looking to upgrade to the C6Z 30 spline trans and diff
Again, these are NEW GM TR6060's; I will put you in direct contact with the GM dealer

Good deal!
I remember paying $1800 for a remanufactured unit (C4 generation, but I purchased the aftermarket trans in 2006) - and I had to do the removal/install/lines/fluid myself.

ZR1 TR6060's also available, $4500 installed, NEW GM, NO CORE, NO DRAMA
This trans is from RKT56.com, along with the 2012 Z06 diff, they were installed in a 2005(base car) that suffered diff failure

2006/2007 owners, find out exactly what you can do before you upgrade your T56; compare the benefits to the NEW GM 2012 TR6060 Z06 trans
Better to start new with the 6060 in handling power and shift quality

I can install a new GM Z06 TR6060 for $2g with your T56 in trade; the way I look at it, it's better to replace your trans while it's 'not broken' then to be forced to have it rebuilt/replaced and not have the T56 as an 'asset' for sale or trade
Another huge benefit would be shifting quality, ask any 2006/2007(T56) owner that has driven a 2008 newer(TR6060) car, they are astonished with the improvement.

I've rebuilt / upgraded a T56 in my 4th gen Camaro. But always heard the TR6060 was way better / stronger.
